Long Time No Blog

Sorry its been a while since my last blog. Not too much exciting has been going on poker wise. I have been playing a ton on Poker Stars, trying to grind out SuperNovaElite. A big bonus system Poker Stars offers if you basically give up your life and grind hardcore online for one year.

Here is a breakdown for me halfway through the year:

450,307 VPPS (need 1 million for SNE)
286,775 Limit Holdem Hands
19,040 O8 Hands
3762 draw Hands
4014 PLO Hands
3149 Stud Hands
28.5 Hours Live Play

stuck a lot in tourneys/wsop sats, down a little in draw games, even in stud games, up in LHE, O8 and PLO. Overall not to happy with my results, have defiantly played when should not have just to grind hands/ hours/ VPPS

I am going to try and play better poker for the 2nd half of the year. The last couple of weeks I have been trying to go the gym before my first session instead of midday, which seems to have a positive result. I have also noticed my LHE suffers when I add in non holdem games to my 3-5 tables. I think I have been putting the holdem tables on auto pilot, which is bad when every pot is being battled for.

I am heading to Vegas Sunday and playing the Main Event Monday I will likely update here of my progress. I booked my room for 8 days, but might extend to 2 full weeks.

Anyway I am excited for the change of pace and to play the Main Event.
